You Can Legislate Fear But You Cannot Legislate Obedience

At this moment, we are being marched, single file in the ringing "left, left, left right left" of a commanding officer towards war with Iran. It's not about safety, it's control. Not faith, control. Not order, but control, obedience, mindless soldiers, power.

They are criminalizing care, banning gender affirming care in Tennessee and a GOP candidate said he wants capital punishment for the parents of trans youth and for women who get abortions. The hypocrisy is astounding. They say they are pro-life and turn around with the death sentence on a silver platter.

They are trying to grind us down, make us feel powerless and hopeless. They won't succeed, we are angry and powerful.

You can legislate fear but you cannot legislate obedience. You are temporary, we will live on and fight back.

We refuse to be stomped out, smothered or dowsed. We remember who we are, where we come from, and the lives that have been lost. We protect each other, when you threaten our very existence.

What kind of freedom requires punishment? None.
